Services are offered through Residential, CBAT, and Intensive Treatment Programs, Special Education Day School, Therapeutic Middle-High School, Out-Patient and In-Home Therapeutic Services. New Grads are welcome to apply! Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Needham Campus. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the LPN will be responsible for both routine and emergency medical services in both the residential, group and school programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine medical care to students
• Provide emergency care to students if necessary
• Administer medications to students at various times throughout the shift
• Maintain medical records
• Provide on-going consultation to staff and attend required meetings
• Ensure that first aid supplies are available in all necessary locations
• Track and schedule medical, dental and lab appointments
• Provide in-service training to staff
• Communicate with parents/guardians/collaterals as needed
• Support Nursing internships
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing
• Interest working with school-aged children

Schedule

Alternating weekend coverage and some holidays required.
