Licensed Practical Nurse

About the Role

This is a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position focused on providing healthcare services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric, or behavioral disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, conduct assessments, and implement healthcare plans.
• Provide training to staff on medication administration, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Serve as a liaison with medical and community providers to coordinate care.
• Educate individuals on topics like self-medication, sex education, and smoking cessation.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or state certification.
• Current state licensure as an LPN/LVN.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), and ACT.
