About the Role
This is a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position focused on providing healthcare services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric, or behavioral disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor health conditions, administer medications, conduct assessments, and implement healthcare plans.
- Provide training to staff on medication administration, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Serve as a liaison with medical and community providers to coordinate care.
- Educate individuals on topics like self-medication, sex education, and smoking cessation.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or state certification.
- Current state licensure as an LPN/LVN.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), and ACT.
