Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

At Touchmark at Fairway Village, our goal is to enrich the lives of residents and off-campus clients by providing them with exceptional service in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a full-time position. Shifts vary, but predominantly day shifts with weekend and holiday rotations.

Pay

Starting wage $38.00 per hour and up depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that quality care is delivered to each resident by holding a team of caregivers accountable for providing person-centered care and following resident care policies and procedures
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth move-in experiences for each resident
• Work with the Life Enrichment team to coordinate a life enrichment plan for each resident based on remaining strengths, abilities, interests, skills, physician recommendations, social and restorative goals, and personal care requirements
• Assist the Health Services Director with staff scheduling, recruitment, and training
• Assist with compliance with state regulations, safety regulations, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

• Possess an LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing and be currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Washington
• Willingness to be on-call and provide assistance to medication aides and caregivers when needed
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Proficiency with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
