Licensed Practical Nurse
Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking caring individuals for a Licensed Practical Nurse position. We are looking for people passionate about helping those who need additional support in their daily lives.
About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides respectful, comprehensive, and person-centered direct care services to individuals in residential homes operated by Minnesota State Operated Community Services (MSOCS).
Responsibilities
- Take temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings
- Administer and record prescribed medication
- Maintain clinical charts and reports on the physical and emotional state of clients
- Promote and participate in rehabilitation activities
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment
- Promote clients' personal hygiene
- Regulate parental fluids and administer intramuscular injections as needed
- Administer emergency first aid
- Order supplies and equipment
- Operate a motor vehicle; possess a current, valid driver’s license
- Transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments, community outings, recreational activities, and spiritual events
Requirements
- Must possess licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Future Practical Nurses within six months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-LPN are encouraged to apply; contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-LPN

Pay
$27.53 - $35.21 per hour; $57,482 - $73,518 annually
Schedule
- Full-time, unlimited position
- 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday
