Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift availability: full-time and part-time Day (7a–3p), Evening (3p–11p), and Night (11p–7a) shifts. Schedules may vary based on current facility needs.

Pay

• Rate of pay: $29.00 to $31.17 per hour (plus shift differentials as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal, and local guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort
• Collect samples and monitor catheters
• Provide wound care
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
• Help coach staff as necessary

Requirements

• Current LPN license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred, but new graduates welcome
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
