About the Role

Center for Allergy & Asthma of Georgia (CAAG), a leading Allergy and Asthma practice and an affiliate of SENTA Partners, provides comprehensive treatment for asthma, allergy, and related pulmonary conditions across nine convenient locations in and around the metro Atlanta area. SENTA Partners is a leading Management Services Organization (MSO) specializing in supporting ENT and Allergy private practices, focusing on operational efficiencies and financial performance to allow physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our ENT and Allergy clinics, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient services. This position involves both direct patient care and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians.
  • Assist with patient assessments, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
  • Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by the physician.
  • Perform routine lab tests, collect specimens, and prepare samples for analysis.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests, treatments, and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Manage patient flow, scheduling, and follow-up appointments to support efficient clinic operations.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, phone calls, and triage calls, providing appropriate guidance and information.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice required.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT or Allergy.
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday.
  • Half-Day Fridays (office closes at 1:30pm).
  • No weekends.
  • Some float required.
