Licensed Practical Nurse

About the Role
Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assisting with procedures, wound care, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, biopsies, diabetic nail care, and other duties as assigned. Works both in a team atmosphere and autonomously while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) in accordance with demonstrated competencies and scope of practice. May cover Medical Assistant duties as needed.
Schedule
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Days - 12-hour shifts and 8-hour shifts available
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
