Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team at the South Amboy, NJ facility, providing evidence-based care to individuals on their path to recovery from substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing behavioral changes, and tracking responses to treatment.
• Administer medications safely according to prescribed plans.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the clinical team to deliver integrated care.
• Educate patients and families on recovery strategies and self-care practices.
• Document patient progress accurately in medical records.
• Maintain a safe and structured environment that supports recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN license.
• Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation).
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or detox services preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills to provide high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay

$29.50 – $36.50 per hour

Schedule

Per diem; 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
