About the role

As a Center Medical Specialist in plasma donation centers, you will be responsible for donor health assessments, education, and safety in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and review medical histories to determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction and confidentiality.
• Educate donors on health risks and interpret test results.
• Manage donor injuries and adverse events, assessing history of illness or medications.
• Assist in employee training and administer hepatitis vaccination programs.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse, Vocational Nurse, or Registered Nurse certification/licensure as per state requirements.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate health conditions and manage emergencies.
