Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a growing and dynamic team!

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and medications to residents.
• Conduct ongoing assessments involving residents.
• Coordinate and document individualized care plans.
• Serve as the immediate coordinator of an assigned unit.
• Oversee the work of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's).
• Step in as the unit supervisor in the absence of the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident information with utmost confidentiality.

Requirements

• Current Hawaii RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Possess strong critical thinking abilities.
• A general understanding of managing the moods and behaviors of residents.
• Supervisory skills to enforce work rules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay

$39/hour (fixed rate)

Schedule

Full-time, temp to perm. Evening or overnight shift.
