Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Duties

• Set up prescribed medications in accordance with patients' nursing care plans
• Administer medications to patients orally, intra-muscularly or subcutaneously
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment by monitoring effects of medication and recording all medications given to patients
• Auxiliary in rehabilitation programming, including development of social skills, daily living skills, reality orientation, recreational skills, etc.
• Record treatment given to patients on their medical record
• Perform nursing acts, functions, or tasks under the delegation/supervision of the registered nurse, including sterile dressing, soaks, compresses, enemas, suppositories, tube feeding, oxygen therapy, range of motion therapy, catheterization, diabetic care, pre- and post-operative care

Minimum Qualifications

• American Heart Association – BLS Certificate
• Active LPN License in the state of Michigan

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $46/hr.
• Shifts: 0930-2200, 1130-2200, 1330-2200
