About the role

Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily activities, and collaborating with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and according to medical orders.
• Maintain patient health records and report changes in condition to healthcare providers.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and other daily activities as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures and treatments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Louisiana.
• At least one year of relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
