Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

HealthCARE Express is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. They are a fast-paced, growing healthcare organization that prioritizes patient care and fosters a supportive, forward-thinking workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs including temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight.
• Insert saline locks and perform basic and advanced cardiac life support.
• Apply sterile dressings, remove sutures and staples, assist with pelvic examinations, perform EKGs, cleanse and irrigate wounds, administer oral medications, and apply splints.
• Initiate routine laboratory testing, collect mucous membrane swabs for cultures, administer and read TB skin tests, perform venipuncture, and administer medications through various routes.
• Willing to cross-train and assist with responsibilities outside usual scope when needed.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent computer proficiency.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Patience and a caring demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a licensed practical nurse program.

Pay

$26 per hour

Schedule

Full-time position with 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, rotating Saturdays.
