Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

DaVita is seeking a FULL-TIME Licensed Practical Nurse to join an outpatient dialysis center. The role involves providing care to patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in an empathetic and compassionate manner
• Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families
• Work with a team supporting each other in a positive environment
• Provide care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans
• Operate a water treatment system as required by state regulations

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• IV certification if required by state regulations
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
• One year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
• Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
