Licensed Practical Nurse
Responsibilities
- Performs nursing duties under direction of a Medical Director, Registered Nurse Advanced Practitioner, or Registered Nurse.
- Prepares, administers, and documents oral and intramuscular medication.
- Initiates and maintains intravenous therapy.
- Ensures adequate supply of medical and treatment supplies.
- Collections assessment data and cares for our veterans within the scope of the LPN clinical skills.
- Documents appropriately on all required clinical forms.
- Inputs Physician’s orders into Electronic Health Record (Point Click Care).
Requirements
- Must be licensed in Kentucky as a practical nurse or must have a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Benefits
This position, in org unit 10204688, Warren County has an approved Locality Premium of $6.27 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:
- Second and Third shift: 15%
- Weekend and Holidays: 25%

Salary $23.90 Hourly
