Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

The successful candidate will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients at the Idaho State Correctional Center, South Idaho Correctional Institution, and Idaho State Correctional Institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Requirements

• Idaho LPN license or compact license.
• Current CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Qualifications

• No corrections experience required.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
