Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and overall health status.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal prep.
• Educate patients and their families on managing health conditions and following care plans.
• Coordinate with RNs, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation using EHR systems.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Follow all safety and health regulations in home care settings.

Requirements

• Active and valid LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in home health or related healthcare setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of compassion and dedication to quality patient care.

Pay

Competitive hourly pay: $35–$45/hour
