Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

Boca Recovery Center is a nationally recognized addiction treatment provider dedicated to adult populations with comprehensive mental health services. Located in Bloomington, Indiana, this role is part of the Medical Services department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain infection control practices and report as necessary.
• Conduct urinalysis toxicology screenings and document results.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by providers.
• Triage medical issues and perform focused patient assessments.
• Document client symptoms, treatments, and health-related concerns in the EMR.
• Maintain communication with scheduling coordinators and medical providers.
• Support health education groups and complete related documentation.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain accurate logs, shift reports, and other medical records.
• Report significant questions, concerns, and complaints to supervising staff.
• Aid in training BHTs on medical protocols.
• Be available for overtime if required.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Indiana.
• CPR certification required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Experience in a substance abuse, psychiatric, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts; availability for weekends is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in Indiana is required.
