Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric or adult care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We provide one-on-one care in clients' homes, allowing you to build relationships and witness milestones while delivering high-quality, compassionate, and reliable care.

Private duty nursing at BAYADA differs from traditional home health visits by offering:

• Traditional shift types (4, 8, or 10-hour shifts)
• Hands-on care with one client at a time
• Opportunities to build long-term client relationships
• Client age ranges from infant to geriatric

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Traveling to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders
• Performing assessments and monitoring clients' conditions
• Documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state
