Role Overview

This position focuses on providing patient-centered care by developing strong relationships, understanding patient needs, and responding promptly to issues. The role supports physicians and medical staff by performing routine and specialized nursing procedures, assisting with examinations and minor surgeries, and monitoring patient conditions. It requires adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards, including medication administration and documentation. The nurse promotes preventive health education and maintains a safe environment. Additional responsibilities include training new staff, managing supplies, and demonstrating service excellence aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure as an LPN in Colorado
• High school diploma or GED required
• Demonstrated customer service skills; IV therapy certification may be required
• Preferred qualifications include BLS certification, experience with diverse patient populations, and IV therapy certification
