About the role
The licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under supervision, collaborating with RNs and healthcare providers to meet patient and family needs. This is an in-person ambulatory role focused on patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Collecting observational data
- Aiding in patient assessment and care planning
- Delivering care per organizational policies and care principles
- Participating in team activities
- Mentoring
- Participating in quality improvement projects
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program or passing the LPN boards
- At least one year of relevant experience; two years preferred
- Current LPN license
- BLS certification
- Additional specialty training as required
