Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory Cardiology

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or other assigned supervisor. The LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN and provider in patient assessment and care planning. The LPN participates as a member of the healthcare team, delivering care in accordance with the patient care plan, organizational policies and procedures, and principles of relationship-based care.

The position is based in the ambulatory cardiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or supervisor.
• Collect data through observation and communicate findings to assist in patient assessment and care planning.
• Participate as a member of the healthcare team in delivering care according to the patient care plan.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with five 8-hour shifts per week. No weekend requirements.
