Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory Cardiology

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or other assigned supervisor. The LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN and provider in patient assessment and care planning. The LPN participates as a member of the healthcare team, delivering care in accordance with the patient care plan, organizational policies and procedures, and principles of relationship-based care. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and adaptability to unpredictable situations within the work setting. The position is based in the ambulatory cardiology setting and operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with five 8-hour shifts per week and no weekend requirements.
