Licensed Practical Nurse (3033)

Seven Hills Foundation's Stetson School is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a supportive, student-centered environment. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote the health, safety, and well-being of students while supporting their overall treatment and educational experience.
Pay
$35.69–$40.50/hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid quarterly over 18 months.
Schedule
- Week 1: Monday & Tuesday 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Week 2: Monday & Thursday 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor and document student health status, including vital signs and response to treatment.
- Conduct sick calls and respond to medical needs, injuries, and emergencies.
- Participate in student admissions, including initial health assessments.
- Prepare, administer, and document medications in compliance with policy and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate medication records and oversee controlled substance inventory.
- Assist in psychiatric medication monitoring and reviews.
- Schedule and coordinate medical, dental, and specialist appointments.
- Communicate with physicians, specialists, families, and internal teams regarding student care.
- Obtain and document physician orders, lab work, and diagnostic results.
- Refer students for additional medical services as needed.
- Educate students, staff, and families on health conditions, treatments, and wellness practices.
- Provide guidance on nutrition, medication management, and overall health maintenance.
- Support the development of individualized student health education plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Conduct audits of medication administration records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff, clinical teams, and school personnel.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and care planning sessions.
- Support staff training, orientation, and ongoing education initiatives.

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
- Standard driver’s license – class C or class D.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
- 1–3 years of related experience.
