Licensed Practical Nurse - 2nd Shift (FT/PT/PRN)

About the role

Deliver medical treatment and personal care to residents in compliance with regulations, policies, and the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with assessments, and providing daily living support such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs
• Assist with resident assessments
• Provide daily living support (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Collect lab samples and manage resident diets
• Maintain resident safety and document accurately in EHR systems
• Support and train staff while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
• Handle emotionally sensitive situations and work collaboratively in a team

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
• Minimum six months of caregiving experience, preferably with elderly residents
• Strong interpersonal, professional, and compassionate skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident mobility

Preferred Skills

• Completion of state-required continuing education
• Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation compliance
