- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes and light commercial buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or mechanical failures.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure plumbing work integrates seamlessly with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance and quality assurance.
- Operate construction vehicles safely for transporting materials or equipment as needed for project sites.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, pipe threading, welding techniques, and schematic interpretation.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, construction site safety protocols, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience with remodeling projects, maintenance work, or handyman tasks that require versatile skills in assembly or carpentry.
Strong field service background with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site quickly and effectively.
Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined or elevated spaces; familiarity with construction site experience is preferred.
