Your Role And Impact
- Lead with Expertise: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical function
- Create Impactful Care Plans: Design personalized, patient-centered treatment plans
- Deliver Innovative Therapy: Implement and delegate care using a wide range of therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate for Continuity: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be flexible, a team player, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize daily assignments effectively
- Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, and communicate information clearly
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and internet use
- Strong working knowledge of Windows-based programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
- Working knowledge of State Practice Act guidelines and Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Exercises sound judgment and discretion while performing duties independently and consistently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills to gather and interpret information from multiple sources
- Responds appropriately to changing circumstances and resolves issues effectively
- Maintains strict confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- Open to new graduates
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
- Current State of CT Physical Therapy license required or active temporary license at time of hire
