Your Role And Impact

  • Lead with Expertise: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical function
  • Create Impactful Care Plans: Design personalized, patient-centered treatment plans
  • Deliver Innovative Therapy: Implement and delegate care using a wide range of therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate for Continuity: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be flexible, a team player, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize daily assignments effectively
  • Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, and communicate information clearly
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and internet use
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows-based programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
  • Working knowledge of State Practice Act guidelines and Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Exercises sound judgment and discretion while performing duties independently and consistently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills to gather and interpret information from multiple sources
  • Responds appropriately to changing circumstances and resolves issues effectively
  • Maintains strict confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
  • Open to new graduates
  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
  • Current State of CT Physical Therapy license required or active temporary license at time of hire
