Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full Time

About the role

HTS is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work at a skilled nursing and senior living community in Rushville, IN (less than 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis). The PTA will treat a diverse caseload from short term rehab, long term care and assisted living populations. This position requires an active State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Applicants without a current PTA license or who do not meet the qualifications to earn licensure will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients for a majority of the work hours.
• Perform Lead Therapist duties such as attending facility and team meetings.
• Follow up on therapy referrals.
• Plan minutes and report any issues to Regional Director.

Requirements

• Active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license.
• Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program.
• Passing of a state-administered national exam.
• Fulfillment of the state’s requirements for licensure.
