About the role
Join our therapy team as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and work closely with the Physical Therapist to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence while delivering the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in providing safe, effective, and individualized therapy treatments.
- Follow established departmental policies and maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure resident well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment with properly functioning equipment.
- Promptly report hazardous conditions or equipment concerns to your supervisor.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Immediately notify your supervisor of missing or unclear labels or Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
Requirements
- Current, active, and unrestricted Florida PTA license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Pay
