Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
  • Assist in patient assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and manual techniques based on evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and referring physicians.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education programs.

Requirements

  • Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  • Active or pending state physical therapist assistant license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
