Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual techniques based on evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and referring physicians.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education programs.
Requirements
- Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Active or pending state physical therapist assistant license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
