Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

Under general supervision of the Physical Therapist and according to established policies and procedures, assists in providing Physical Therapy services, including but not limited to the implementation of treatment based on the plans and goals stablished by the Therapists. Also responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Associate program for Physical Therapy Assistants
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure by the state of Florida

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate program for Physical Therapy Assistants
• Licensure/Registration: Licensure or eligibility for licensure by the state of Florida

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail

Schedule

Full-time; scheduled days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; shift: Day; hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm M-F; rotating every 5th weekend

Pay

Minimum Salary: $26.30
