Licensed Pharmacist - CA & AZ licensure

The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

About the role

CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist with a California license to join our dynamic team in our Phoenix, AZ onsite facility to serve as our Pharmacist-in-Charge for the state of California. You will work directly with the Pharmacist-In-Charge of the pharmacy and CenterWell Pharmacy’s Professional Practice team to ensure compliance with California laws and regulations and provide oversight for pharmacy services provided to California patients.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Pharmacist-In-Charge of the pharmacy and CenterWell Pharmacy’s Professional Practice team to ensure compliance with California laws and regulations and provide oversight for pharmacy services provided to California patients.
• Choose from job assignments in our Front End, Dispensing, or Clinical Services teams.
• Be proficient with computers such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint.

Requirements

• A Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• An active license as a Pharmacist in California and Arizona without disciplinary action.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a high-volume retail, community or traditional mail order pharmacy practice environment.
• The ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in both English and Spanish - You will be required to pass a language assessment.
