About the role
Ellie Mental Health is seeking creative and collaborative humans with a passion for changing mental health care in fun and meaningful ways. This position may be located in either our Westerville, OH or Worthington, OH clinic - no need to specify which one you prefer - they're just 4 miles apart. This position is remote-flexible - some sessions may be virtual, but most will be in-person at our office location - if you have any special circumstances around remote work, let's discuss.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
- Collect insurance cards and credit cards from clients and process co-pays or high-deductible patient responsibilities
- Full-time clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week (part-time must maintain a minimum of 15 client visits per week)
- Provide an excellent customer experience for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Contribute to our team of fun, dedicated therapists to elevate the therapist experience – we want you to love your job
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
- Cook up some awesome team building and cool swag
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Candidates must have a dependent or independent clinical licensure (MFT, LPC, LSW, IMFT, LPCC, LISW, etc.) with a valid Ohio state license
- Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- Pass a background check
Qualifications
- Passionate about topics such as, but not limited to: eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), BIPOC population, humanistic therapy, gender identity and sexual orientation, play therapy, art therapy, musical therapy, social work, Adlerian therapy, PTSD, group therapy, couples therapy, psychotherapy
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort and familiarity with working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including the collection of co-payments, credit cards, and insurance cards
