Licensed Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

About the role

Brave Acorn is seeking an Oregon-licensed mental health therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD) to provide outpatient individual counseling services. This can be either a part-time employee position (15-23 clinical hours across at least 2 days) or a full-time employee position (24 or more clinical hours across at least 3 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling services to clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues for regular consultations.
• Complete session notes, treatment plans, intake assessments, care coordination notes, and discharge summaries promptly.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and meets HIPAA standards.
• Work collaboratively with the team for weekly case consultations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and learning.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Oregon state license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD).
• Experience and training in working with individual adults.
• Good reputation and references.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Strong communication and ethical practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively.

Qualifications

• Solid clinical skills.
• Training and practice in trauma-informed care modalities (EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems).
• Experience with Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating approaches.
• Experience working with people who have eating disorders, chronic medical conditions, sleep disorders, addictions, codependency, OCD, and/or grief and loss issues.
• Experience working in multiple languages.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Pay

Your pay will be based on a percentage of the fees collected from your clients, translating to $50-100 per client hour.
