About the role

• Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers
• Create custom fits for glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
• Aid the team with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Accurately and thoroughly use technology despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, and use appropriate tools
• Proactively explore root causes of issues, think ahead, ensure customers are satisfied, and exceed expectations
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs & competencies
• Take pride in store appearance, help maintain a clean, attractive, and organized environment
• Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices
• Resourceful, self-motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results
• Adhere to company policies & procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• State Licensure in Optical Dispensing
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
• Knowledge of current store merchandise
• Strong basic math skills
• Awareness of current fashion trends
• Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPAD/tablet
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
• Embrace new technology & change
