About the role

DITA, a world-renowned luxury eyewear brand, is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Licensed Optician to join our SOHO Flagship team.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert optical consultations and eyewear recommendations.
• Interpret prescriptions and guide clients through lens and frame selections.
• Take precise facial and optical measurements.
• Professionally fit, adjust, and repair eyewear.
• Deliver an exceptional luxury client experience from consultation through final dispensing.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and develop repeat business.
• Maintain individual and store sales goals.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Aid in merchandising, inventory, and daily store operations.
• Collaborate with management and teammates to maintain DITA’s exceptional standards of service.

Requirements

• Current Optician License (required where applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience working as a dispensing Optician
• Experience fitting, adjusting, repairing, and dispensing prescription eyewear
• Experience taking accurate optical measurements, including PDs and segment heights
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, lens options, coatings, and frame fitting
• Able to interpret optical prescriptions accurately
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Luxury retail sales experience
• Existing high-profile client book
• ABO Certification
• Experience working with premium eyewear brands
• Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong fashion sense with an eye for luxury styling and current eyewear trends
