About the Role
HTS is hiring a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our therapy team at a top-rated skilled nursing facility in Kendallville, Indiana, just 30 minutes north of Fort Wayne. Dedicated to delivering long-term care and memory care, this facility is slower paced and focused on maintaining quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and resident programs.
Requirements
- Active State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license required. Applicants without a current OTA license or who do not meet the qualifications to earn licensure will not be considered.
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license.
- Degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program.
- Passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination.
- Fulfillment of the state's requirements for licensure.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
