Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership in the delivery of coordinated, integrated resident care through the development and improvement of delivery systems.
  • Led the integration of innovation and evidence-based findings into practice.
  • Creates an environment supportive of innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrates and directs employees in using a systematic approach in analyzing and utilizing data in problem-solving, with a focus on results and the evaluation of outcomes.
  • Establishes high performance standards for service outcomes and works with leadership team to meet standards and continually improve resident satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Affirms operational targets are met for resident satisfaction, employee satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and employee turnover.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements through appropriate departmentalization and delegation of duties.
  • Maintains a state of readiness for survey by regulatory bodies.
  • Affords assistance to each Department Director to maintain full compliance with the quality assurance standards of Community First Solutions.
  • Conducts routine visual inspections of all department operations.
  • Absolves with the company Always Behaviors each and every day as we serve our clients, colleagues, and community.
  • Assumes responsibility as the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator of Record for the facility.
  • Ensures that all areas within the facility, and on the property grounds, are well-maintained in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.
  • Oversees the maintenance of complete and accurate resident records required by law.
  • Serves on community operational committees to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health services administration or related field. (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Licenses or other required certifications: Must be licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators or have the ability to obtain Ohio license upon hire.
  • Experience: Long term care and RCF expertise and thorough knowledge of the financial management of healthcare operations typically obtained with five or more years’ experience.
  • Managerial experience equivalent to five years.
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the various regulatory and accrediting agencies as applicable.
  • Expertise in Long term Care and Assisted Living facilities.
  • Familiarity with Dementia and chronic disease management as applicable.
