About the role
This position is available due to an internal promotion and transition into leading a larger senior living community under our umbrella. As the largest single operator of quality nursing homes in Iowa, Care Initiatives is a nonprofit healthcare organization with over forty skilled nursing communities, eight hospice offices, and our own internal staffing agency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility to ensure quality of care and operational excellence.
- Lead and support teams by fostering collaboration, compassion, continuous improvement, and staff development.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to maintain high-quality resident care and positive outcomes.
- Promote a strong culture of service, accountability, and resident-centered care.
Requirements
- Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing required, or ability to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
- Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired; newly licensed Administrators may also be considered for growth and development.
- Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.
