Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

About the role

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and operations of Highland Chateau Health + Rehabilitation Center. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining a culture of dignity, respect, and quality care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to all facility staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified department leaders and staff.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee facility surveys and inspections, ensuring prompt resolution of deficiencies.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and resident-centered care.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet operational and clinical goals.

Qualifications

• Current, active Minnesota state license as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA).
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility administration.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements (CMS, OSHA, etc.).
• Proven financial management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
