About the role
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and operations of Highland Chateau Health + Rehabilitation Center. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining a culture of dignity, respect, and quality care for residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to all facility staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Recruit, hire, and retain qualified department leaders and staff.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Oversee facility surveys and inspections, ensuring prompt resolution of deficiencies.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and resident-centered care.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet operational and clinical goals.
Qualifications
- Current, active Minnesota state license as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA).
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility administration.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements (CMS, OSHA, etc.).
- Proven financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
