About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians, nurse supervisors, or the Director of Nursing Services. Responsibilities include maintaining the stock cart, following facility policies and state requirements, and performing other assigned nursing duties.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide quality nursing care and direct the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants. You will plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities with assigned nursing staff and support personnel.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, and state requirements.
- Refill and clean the stock cart.
- Direct the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants (RN role).
- Plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities with nursing staff and support personnel (RN role).
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN in the appropriate state.
- Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills for use with electronic medical records systems.
