Licensed Mortician or Funeral Director

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate funeral and memorial services, ensuring each ceremony reflects the wishes and traditions of the family.
• Offer compassionate guidance and personalized assistance throughout the planning and decision-making process.
• Perform preparation and care of the deceased for visitation and services, including embalming and restorative or cosmetic procedures when required.
• Ensure all funeral home operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Foster positive relationships within the community by engaging with local organizations and supporting outreach initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Current Funeral Director license in the respective state, or willing to obtain.
• Degree in mortuary science from an accredited program.
• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with grieving families.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience.
