Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate funeral and memorial services, ensuring each ceremony reflects the wishes and traditions of the family.
- Offer compassionate guidance and personalized assistance throughout the planning and decision-making process.
- Perform preparation and care of the deceased for visitation and services, including embalming and restorative or cosmetic procedures when required.
- Ensure all funeral home operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Foster positive relationships within the community by engaging with local organizations and supporting outreach initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Current Funeral Director license in the respective state, or willing to obtain.
- Degree in mortuary science from an accredited program.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with grieving families.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Pay & Benefits
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience.
