Licensed Mental Health Professional (Part Time Days)

Responsibilities
- Facilitate admission intakes, educating and informing individuals about consents for treatment and authorizations for use and disclosures.
- Conduct a thorough, accurate, and clinically sound Psychosocial Assessment with the individual within 72 hours of admission to Walk-In or observation, and within 24 hours for individuals admitted to the CSU.
- Maintain the clinic record, including documentation of activities performed as part of the service delivery process, and obtain signatures from individuals regarding treatment, as necessary.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized, person-centered Treatment Plans suitable for brief intervention.
- Complete and review signed Treatment Plans on CSU with each individual and any involved parties to ensure understanding and agreement.
- Gather collateral information from individuals and involved parties to conduct a thorough assessment of needs for treatment and discharge planning.
- Actively coordinate care and provide referrals to ensure services are aligned with both facility staff and external providers.
- Identify and address gaps in service needs, making appropriate recommendations to meet individuals' needs upon discharge.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to engage with, monitor, and communicate with individuals, ensuring safety and meeting their needs during the discharge process.
- Maintain accurate clinic records, discharge planning, and treatment planning.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Pennsylvania State behavioral health system and 302 involuntary legal processes.
- Participate in ongoing education, including in-services, training, and other activities to maintain and improve competency.
- Demonstrate competency through post-testing, skill observation, and performance assessments as conducted by direct supervisors.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related behavioral health field, and current Pennsylvania licensure in good standing as one of the following: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC).
- 1-2 years of experience in a mental health setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) must be obtained within seven days of hire.

Pay
The position offers competitive compensation with shift differentials to maximize earnings. Shift differentials include:
- +$2/hr for Monday-Thursday Nights.
- +$3/hr for Friday-Sunday Nights.
- +$2/hr for Saturday-Sunday Days.
Schedule
Full-time only.
