Licensed Mental Health Professional - Independent

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to support patients with a variety of mental health needs.
• Complete crisis evaluations and coordinate care with inpatient behavioral health units, crisis services, and emergency departments when needed.
• Collaborate with community agencies, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid, CARF, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to provisionally licensed clinicians, interns, and students as needed.
• Maintain clinical productivity standards while delivering compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services in accordance with UnityPoint Health values.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a community mental health setting.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure in good standing in Illinois or Iowa as one of the following: LCSW/LISW, LCPC/LMHC, LMFT.

Pay

Salary Range: $32.73-$49.09/hr*
