Licensed Mental Health Counselor- LPHA

Responsibilities

• Completing assessments and diagnosis
• Recovery planning
• Liaison with other clinical service providers
• Provision of treatment
• Crisis services during regular business hours
• Documentation of client progress
• Provides CBT and CPT therapy on a limited basis

Requirements

• Demonstrates ability to analyze clinical needs and social situations
• Identifies problems and alternative courses of action
• Demonstrates multicultural sensitivity and effective communication skills
• Willingness to be flexible, resourceful, and creative in problem solving
• Ability to organize and present information clearly and concisely
• Valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Knowledgeable of psychotropic medications and DSM V
• Working computer skills including MS Word
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred
