About the Role
HealthDrive is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to work part-time or full-time (2-5 days per week) in nursing facilities across the Greater Boston, MA area (including Malden, Chelsea, Saugus, and Danvers). This is a permanent position with no contracts, offering full clinical autonomy and an established patient base.
HealthDrive delivers on-site behavioral health, primary care, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, and audiology services to residents in long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral health services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
- Complete psychosocial (initial) assessments.
- Provide 1-on-1 therapy to patients.
- Recommend behavioral/therapeutic interventions to nursing home staff.
- Conduct risk assessments as needed.
- Enter patient information and required clinical documentation in EMR system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Mobile model treatment requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- State professional LMHC license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to use email, the internet, and learn other healthcare-related software.
