About the role
Mentor South Bay provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Behavioral Health and Mental Health Outpatient services across Massachusetts and Connecticut. For over 35 years, we've provided a collaborative, team-based approach dedicated to helping children, adults, and families reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling to youth involved in the foster care system
- Lead family-centered interventions that strengthen relationships and promote stability
- Conduct intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and ongoing clinical documentation
- Respond to crises and provide on-call or scheduled crisis support as needed
- Cookordinate care and case management with DCF/child welfare, schools, and community providers
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide treatment planning
- Deliver services in homes, schools, and community settings
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Licensed or license-eligible (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT or equivalent)
- Experience or strong interest in foster care, child welfare, trauma, or family systems
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
