Responsibilities
The Transplant Licensed Social Worker is a member of the solid organ transplant multidisciplinary care management team and is responsible for assisting in the patient management in all phases of care. The role reflects appropriate knowledge of Social Work scope of practice, current state requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation, EMTALA, Patient Bill of Rights, AB 1203 and other Federal or State regulatory agency requirements specific to the Social Work role.
