About the role

Central New York Psychiatric Center - Five Points Satellite Unit is recruiting for a Licensed Master Social Worker to provide professional social work services to individuals with mental illness. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver culturally competent and evidence-based treatment and support services in a recovery-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, service linkages, and discharge planning
• Develop treatment plans with individuals and the treatment team; monitor and evaluate progress; and modify treatment plans as needed
• Determine discharge needs and identify appropriate community resources
• Establish and maintain relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• Licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program. Candidates within State Service may also be considered for transfer if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Pay

Additional compensation may apply based on shift assignment:

• 7% shift differential for evening shift and weekend days
• 10% shift differential for night shift

This position is located at Central New York Psychiatric Center's Five Points Satellite Unit on the grounds of Five Points Correctional Facility in Seneca County.

If you fail to maintain your license and/or registration once appointed, action will be taken to remove you from the position.

If appointed and subsequently listed as excluded, you may be terminated.
