About the Role
Ohioans offers a range of positions including office employees, field nurses, and care coordinators. Each role plays a crucial part in ensuring the best services for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Medication Teaching: Monitor medication compliance, set up IV therapy, injections, and provide necessary education.
- Nutrition Counseling: Ensure diet compliance, monitor weight, and provide intravenous nutrition such as TPN and tube feeding.
- Respiratory Assessment: Teach the use of inhalers, aerosol machines, oxygen, and proper equipment care.
- Cardiac Care: Offer post-operative care, monitor chest pain, blood pressure, edema, and educate on cardiac symptoms.
- Wound Care: Conduct dressing changes, apply wound vac therapy, assess wound healing, and identify signs of infection.
- Disease Education: Inform patients about various diseases such as COPD, CHF, diabetes, renal failure, MS, osteoporosis, and more.
- Pediatric Care: Provide care for infants and children with a variety of diagnoses and special needs, including PICC care, tracheostomy care, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, nasogastric or enterostomy feedings, medication administration, and education to parents/caregivers.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Experience in home healthcare settings preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
