Licensed Massage Therapist- Independent Contractor

Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club is seeking a Massage Therapist to perform therapeutic massages while providing exceptional service to our member clients. Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional attention to all members and guests.
• Perform a range of massage therapy services including Swedish, sports, lymphatic, and deep tissue.
• Promote the benefits of massage therapy.
• Conduct pre- and/or post-treatment consultations.
• Answer questions related to services performed and products used.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the Club.
• Restock supplies and sanitize equipment in massage areas.
• Stay up to date on personal services performed.
• Schedule member clients' next appointments.

Requirements

• State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Massage Therapy license and Esthetician license.
• Previous massage therapy experience.
• Experience in deep-tissue and sports massage.
• Experience in all modalities.
• First aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Able to meet and perform physical requirements typical of this position, including frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, repetitive motions, continuous standing, and walking.
• Must be able to tolerate a variety of odors including massage oils and lotions.
• This is a 1099 independent contractor position; individual must provide own liability insurance.
